Your log shows it working at -15*. Open the SPK: spark advance

I have a question that pertains to this launch timing issue. if you set the figure to -15 is that what you are leaving on when you let go of the button, and if so? wouldn't you want it a bit higher??? I'm just asking, I'm not telling, thanks

When you release the button it will go straight to the timing you have in your timing table at that load and RPM.
If you have "Timed Retard after Launch" enabled, it enables a seperate table for you to adjust how quickly you can ramp your timing back in after the button release.

Yep, and I use launch timing retard to manage the first 60 foot based on current track condition. This is why I look at the Spark advance, it tells the whole story in one graph instead of having multiple timing windows open

Side note, if you have vss you can see how well your reacts. I have suspension sensors too and it's neat too see launch control release, suspension move and then vss move. My cars reaction time is just about .200 so I'm learning to bump in a just bit deeper to help dual my reaction time

What is the best suggested way to get a timing retard after launch set up to maximize traction??

You can use a time based timing retard or blend between two spark tables based on gear.

Can this be done on a MS2 v3.57? I do not see this option available anywhere. Thanks
