"Miss"/Skip after crank up MS3

Post by Quickdomestic »

Just finished building the car. LS1 408CI Stroker LS3 Heads/Intake; Custom cam.

After initial crank up, the engine wants to stall; the only way I can get it to not, is by holding down the throttle 25% or so. While doing this, the engine runs like crap the wideband reads 15-16+ AFR, and it sounds like there is a miss.

After approximately 10 seconds, all of the sudden, the AFRs drop down to 11-12 or so, the engine miss disappears, and WUE works, and it eventually comes down to a stable CL idle.

This happens every time, hot or cold, if it takes, say, longer than a minute to crank the car back up.

Any direction/thoughts greatly appreciated.

I was unable to upload a log file; it said the file was too big. Any advice? I did attach the tune.

Your VE table values are way low; where did that come from? What fuel are you using that has a stoich of 13.5?

The log (MSL) can be "pruned" to a smaller size in MLV, but it may be easier to just take a new one for a shorter time.

Try putting the log in a ZIP file. They compress very well.
