Warm up enrich on methanol

Post by jsimmons »

I switched my car to run on methanol a few months back and i never messed with any settings other than added a little fuel to after start and cranking to help it fire. The general consensus is that you want a alcohol car as lean as possible during warm up. Can warm up enrich be used to pull fuel out at startup, basiclly the opposite of how its intended to work? If not what options do i have? Just disable warm up enrich and/or?

"General consensus" is on carbs and mech inj. Remember you have a lot more control.

Just tune it as close to stoich as you can without letting it misfire. It will still need warmup values that add fuel over warm idle.
