strange scenario this morning tuning

So my miata is by large tuned so I am just doing some small tweaks here and there with my phone. This morning I decided I wanted to change the temp my fan came on and went off and was not paying close attention and ended up entering on at 205 and off at 210. I'm idling in the drive thru at a restaurant . I drive to work and shut it down . I then go a little while later and try to startup and it would not start. I pulled up the msdroid and I could not establish comms. I tried shadow dash and did get coms but I had a config error so I had to grab the laptop and correct the config problem which was of course the conflict with the cooling fan settings . moral of the story is if I had not had my laptop then that would have been a big problem since I could not establish comms with MSdroid.

Is there anything else I could have done to establish comms with MSdroidat that point that I did not try? My android device is a Samsung galaxy S4 if that's relevant.

I do have the premium version of msdroid. I realize this was a.stupid tuning mistake but there might need to be a little bit of a failsafe built in to settings like this that prevents the user from making this mistake as stupid as it was. If I had not had my laptop with me.then I would have been dead in the water.

MSDroid is supposed to handle configuration errors gracefully so I will attempt to replicate and look into this. Is it possible for you to let me know your firmware please, and possibly even a tune file that I can use to closely replicate the situation you had?

Hi Trev. The fw was 1.4.1beta5 I believe and the msq is in the 3rd post of the thread http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic ... 31&t=62390
