So I had a cunning plan!!
I couldn't get my no-name in-dash GPS to run Android so I bought one of these cheapie Android media players and plugged it in to the AUX video port. That part looks great and android and msdroid are booting and auto starting perfectly.
The problem is that MSdroid says " USB not supported on this firmware/hardware" on the status page. Is there any way to update this player to a vanilla version of Android that supports usb to serial?
The media player I bought has the following specs:
MEP-C3 AU
Android 4.2
Cortex A7 Dual Core 1.2GHz
512Mb DDR3 RAM
4GB storage
WiFi, Ethernet, etc
MSdroid and media player

BTW it has 2xUSB ports built in.
