tab 3 with ms2e?

I have an ms2e and the tuning laptop died. I have a Samsung tab 3 with the 7" screen. I'd like to get msdroid setup and running. I have only used the serial connection when laptop tuning. So no experience with usb or bt. Has anybody set up the tab3 with msdroid? Can anybody recommend any hardware known to work with the ms2e and tab3?

You'd have to see if you can do a USB to serial adapter to your Tab3. The settings are in there for doing this within MSdroid. The other option is installing some Bluetooth hardware widget into your MS mother board. I'm having good luck with an RN-41 bluetooth module. It is already set to 115200 baud rate but uses UART instead of rs232. I wired mine straight to the RX/TX uart pins off the RS232 chip. Only issue doing this is when you do hook a serial cable up and try to send and receive data it won't work, you'd need to disconnect the bluetooth rx/tx lines first.
