Hi, I got fuel pressure sensor and EGT working on ADC 6 and 7. I had to configure the channels to the firmware.ini which is in the project folder. You can also add additional channels to logging too in firmware.ini.

Re: ms2 extra fuel and oil pressure gauge
Sorry to dig up this old thread, but does anyone have any info on how to add these channels for display and logging in firmware.ini?

It's in the manual (at least in part): http://www.msextra.com/doc/pdf/html/Meg ... .4-82.htmlhybrid wrote:Sorry to dig up this old thread, but does anyone have any info on how to add these channels for display and logging in firmware.ini?

Thanks Jean, I did put my custom ini from TunerStudio into the msdroid project folder but that didn't seem to work. Will have a bit more of a play later.

I'm not sure that MSDroid uses the custom.ini. You will likely have to create a new version of the firmware ini file where you add the equations and definitions from the custom.ini file. Simply add the lines from the custom.ini file at the end of the corresponding sections in the original firmware ini file.
You would need to confirm with the MSDroid people but unfortunately they are not very diligent with support and maintenance.

I'm not stuck on MSDroid.. I've got ShadowDash as well, but it wasn't obvious whether it could do it either.
It will be very rare that I will use the notebook for logging, so really need to have this logging at the very least so I can check it later.
A gauge I can display on my phone is even better, but not absolutely necessary like the logging is.

Re: ms2 extra fuel and oil pressure gauge
Spot on Jean.
Got it working by copying the sections from custom.ini in TS to the relevant sections in the firmware.ini file in my MSDroid project.
I did notice two entries for the fuel gauge though, so I'm wondering whether it actually is reading custom.ini after all.
