Possible bug on gauges?

Post by hybrid »

Have been playing with MSDroid (will buy PRO tonight) and we came across this gauge with the wrong text on it.

ABCDEF...?

That's just a default bit of text you can change or or re-position as desired.
Always doing things the hard way, MS2 sequential w/ v1.01 mainboard, LS2 coils. 80 mile/day commuter status.

Hi,

I am new to MSdroid. I have the PRO version installed. Can you let me know how can I change the mentioned labels content?

I have for example Vehicle Speed 1 selected to display but there is some default string remained which currently covering half of my 7"...

Thanks,

Zoltan

You can`t change the text. There a few gauges with this issue and you can`t do anything about it. :(

I also checked the dash file but there is nothing. It would be great if the labels, the maximum values, number of digits can be changed.

Hi,

unfortunately it looks like there is not too much activity around MSDroid.

Does any of you have information about if the developers still support and help solve issues?

Thanks,

Zoltan

Sorry, activity on development is still high but I need to ensure I respond on here more frequently.

I have a development branch in progress that adds functionality to change the labels, move the labels relative to the gauges, and change the limits. I am unable to say when this work will be complete and find its way into a release, but I can promise that it is in progress.

Hi Trev,

It is very good to hear that activity is still high and we are not alone...

Hi Zoltan,

Lots of progress has been made on the dashboard improvements and I was hoping to be able to demonstrate it before Christmas, but it's now looking like some point in January. Bear with me still! :D

Hi Trev,

Any chance to release what you achieved / developed until now?

Thanks,

ANY updates Trev ? Image

Just renaming the gauges from ABCDEFGH would be appreciated, it`s been like that for ages now :(

HI Trev,

Do you have any partial code to release with some minor corrections?

We are very very (very!) interested in some new release what you are promising since a year now...

Thanks,

Zoltan

Hi Trev,

I updated to version 2.5. I have also purchased pro version a year ago.

Still again lot of promises there is no update in the gauges, however the SW is running great.

You promised more than a year ago that there is something coming, we need to be patient.

Sorry for the question but do you really have some workaround for our issue?

Let me ask again: do you plan to release something which can help edit labeling or at least correct it?

Thank you in the name of your customers, who would have some better level of support and not just promises.

2.5r2 hotfix being uploaded to Play right now fixes the label issue.
