LG G4 can't connect to ECU

Hi

I used to have a HTC one V and a Nexus Galaxy. Both cellphone could connect to the ecu via Bluetooth and MSDROID.
however since a few MSdroid update, the app crash as soon as I connect to my ecu (on both those cellphone)

On my new cellphone however, I can pair the LG G4 and the MS3pro via the android bluetooth menu (I can enter the password code and put it in paired device).
BUT
When I open MSdroid and I try to connect to the ecu, it says to connect the device via bluetooth (it should be connected already).

I'd like to find a way to connect one or all of these cellphones to my megasquirt via bluetooth (seeing as I could with the htc one V and the nexus galaxy before a few msdroids updates).
