Hi Mario,

It is a 240z with a 7mgte.

I have gotten it to run and drive, but it won't rev past 4500rpm or so. I'm running out of things I can check. May have to try and put put it to your place if I can't make any progress.

Oh that's perfect. I don't have much space for another car right now :) But if you can drive it that makes thing easy. Just let me know!

Where are you located?

I am in Bellevue.

Unsure if it is a simple fix and I drive it there and drive it back kind of deal, or if it would be a leave it at the shop kind of deal. Hopefully the community can give me a few pointers, if I can't figure it out on my end, I sure am glad there is someone who is familiar with these systems when I throw in the towel.

Excellent,

I think it may be wise to move this over to PM's so I don't clutter your thread anymore.

Cheers!

Hey local Seattle-ish area people. I just got my MS3X engine started and am working on the tune. I'm looking for a bit of help tuning the cruise portion of my map while the engine breaks in.

Specs on the engine/MS3

5.9 Dodge Magnum
10:1 Compression, zero deck, .039 quench
Hughes HER0814ALN-10 cam, 208 duration, .512 lift, 110 lsa
shorty headers
LS2 coils x 8
M1 intake
52 mm throttle body

running full sequential fuel and spark. Let me know if anyone is willing to look at my .msq or discuss tuning theory over a beer. I'll buy.

I live in Lynnwood. Monroe isn't too far away. We pass through there all the time on our way to Stevens Pass. Once this quarter settles in I'll make some time to drive the truck out there. I'm reading as much tuning theory as I can but there is a lot of information out there. the truck pulls good down low but the high rpm seems to fall off. I think I need more advance and I know I need bigger injectors.

That would be killer. It' been at least 5 years since a West Coast MegaMeet. But I think we could put together a more casual GTG.

Your duty cycle will tell you the injector story. Have you taken a loot at plugs after a good pull? If you ever think about dyno time I have a connection with Dyno Authority in Redmond.

I would be interested in get together as well.

Mario,

Duty cycle at WOT is 100% or greater and I measured the factory injectors at 242 cc/min. Have not pulled the plugs yet but I am going to do that after class tomorrow. One of my problems right now is my laptop is dead... I ordered a new one that should be here this week. I have Tunerstudio and MegaLog Viewer.

I'm interested in a GTG also....

I wouldn't be able to take my buggy if the weather is crappy though... :(

It sure would be cool to see all the other setups in the area.
