MegaSquirt, JimStim and Tunner Studio help needed

Post by Dave B »

Here's what I got:
MEGASQUIRT III v3.57 with MS3X Expander board
JIMSTIM v1.5 with wheel simulator v1.5
TUNER STUDIO MS v2.6.14

Car is wired and ready to go. I ran Tuner Studio with the JimStim and MegaSquirt and got a "Not synced" when I adjust the RPM. Other pots appear to be working. What do I do next? I am new to EFI, tuning and MegaSquirt and have reached the limit of my ability. Anyone want to help me out, please? I would be interested in hiring a local tuner to help me if there is one? I am in Marin County/San Francisco Bay Area.

Can you make a tooth log of an attempted start? This will tell us more about the RPM signal that is getting through to the ECU.

Check that you have set the dil switches on the JimStim to the correct type of rpm output for your MS settings and also that you have the jumper set for the correct pull up. 12v I think.
