Trans control - pre-1.0 RC1 released

Post by jsmcortina »

To announce the pre-1.0 RC1 version of the Microsquirt trans code.
Customer feedback has been positive and the code appears to be stable, so I have decided to move this towards a "release" name by naming this "Release Candidate 1". So long as no problems are reported, it should be promoted to release fairly shortly.

Changes since the last (0029) release
Bug fixes
-

New / changed features
MS2 sel D input is PE0/JS7
Make pin names more logical by product.

Minor / internal
ini tweak to allow up to 2047 CAN offset.
Tooltip tweaks.
Tiny defaults tweak.

The zip can be downloaded via:
http://www.msextra.com/downloads/dev/tr ... -1-0-rc1//
The updated manual is included.

Successes, failures, bug reports and suggestions welcome here.

there was 2 things i was going to ask for before the code got this far but im a bit late. ill ask anyway

1. have shift tables on tps and pressure tables on map, this is mandatory on a turbo car for correct shifting AND line pressure
2. a spare output. when i had the gpio in my car i ran a fender mounted trans cooler with a fan set to come on above 150*

Those are reasonable suggestions, but I think they'll have to wait until after 1.0 is release and will be part of a pre-1.1 beta code.
(The code naming isn't a big deal, but I'm keen to reach "1.0" and then continue with dev versions as normal.)
