A340E Overdrive issue?

Post by gonzo87107 »

Hello all,

I just recently got my project up and running and I'm having a small issue with transmission control. I'm using a Microsquirt Version 3 to control a Toyota A340E in my Mk3 Supra and everything works perfectly except for the overdrive. I have the stock gear selector switch that reads out P-R-N-3-2-1 and it selects all of those correctly, but what kind of input do I need to get it to shift into overdrive? Do I need to set up a latching switch into a spare input like the factory uses? Or do I need to somehow give it an overdrive signal through the gear selector circuit from the manual?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Nevermind! I figured out what I did wrong. I just needed to wire a latching switch into the A340 gear selector circuit to activate OD.
