Recieve CAN from different ECU

Just wondering if it's possible to grab some of the needed signals (TPS, etc) from a non-MS ECU. I recently purchased the microsquirt to control my 4l80e and am using the AEM infinity. I know the AEM broadcasts the needed channels over CAN, but wasn't sure if I could get the Microsquirt to grab those channels or if I'm going to have to T-off the sensors from the engine.

Appreciate any help, eager to try out the MS!

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately in the short term that's not going to be supportable because their CAN protocol looks like it clashes with the non-standard Megasquirt 29bit CAN.

I am looking to include more generic CAN receiving in future releases of MS3 and that may well roll over to the trans controller.

I am trying to do something similar with a megashift application but the protocol I need is J1939. I looked through the megashift main template code and didn't find anything that looked like it was defining message structure etc.
