Transmission manual mode

When using the auto/manual mode option is there a status or adc gauge I can look to verify its switching? I have mine wired into the tps wire and when in manual mode, current gear does not follow my shifter. I'd like to start in second while doing my burnouts and maintain D3 postion while doing tuning pulls and it's downshifting on me now

I took a quick log with the car off switching the manual mode on/off. And the only thing I can see change is the adc3 count. Is this the tps input? How can I make it follow my shifter selector as the gear I want?

took a couple logs one with the ecu in manual mode and the other in switchable manual mode You see in manual mode that the current gear position follows my shifter pattern and indicates 0 for P/N and -1 for reverse switchable manual mode always indicates gear 1 while in p/N and reverse and does not follow the gear selector pattern I marked the log in switchable mode when I activated the manual switch

would trying a different input be of help?

I got my extra wires out today and have clt and O2 extra. Changed programming to clt and manual mode works as expected now.
