Had the opportunity to play with a ms3pro running a 427 LS3 with a 4L80E using a microsquirt V3 using CAN bus.

Once we got all the install sorted out and engine running well we moved into the transmission side of tuning.

Why for the shift points is mph on the y axis and engine load (tps) on the x axis? If you swap the axis around the shift points become more intuitive. Down shift curve is then placed above the upshift curve, more load requires a down shift while less will get you into the next gear.

The tcc lockup needs a curve and not a big box. Really clunky having a max/min throttle setting to lock/unlock along with min rpm and speed. As speed increases the point to unlock tcc will move up also a long with any unlock hysteresis . In second gear at low speed (rolling thru a parking lot at 5% throttle) you could have tcc lock but an increase to 10% would warrent unlocking.

Maybe I use tcc lockup in my one off controller different than OEM may have. I've used it as an easy gear splitting method.

Ga I have the same system but on a ls2 can't get the 4l80e to shift out of 2nd automatically, but if I'm in test mode it will shift to gear 3 and 4 manually how did you get it to shift into gear 3 automatically if you don't mind
