Did take a look at your file and selected a small piece.

Some common things on these files.
On the left side you can select the fields you want to see, drop down menu.
If it is getting to much information at once you choose the blanc space on the dropdown menu, top.
Just play whit it, you won't ruin anything.

Remind you I am not into automatic gearboxes, its my first time I ever see a log about it.

But did notice some things.
On the left side you see a down and a upshift from 3>2 and 2>3, both times you see a ignition retard a transmission slip and the solstat is acting.
Compare this to the 3>4 shift on the right side, first Iam missing the ignition retard transmission slip behaves different and solstat ?

Maybe it is better to start a new topic whit a new small datalog where things are going wrong and the current msq.

he thanks man. really appreciate somebody is taking time to help me check this out.

I have no clue if its my hardware or software causing my "problems".

I thought the history of this topic would be valuable to other. I started it, because I just installed the 4L80E and have started this topic to share my setup, early/newby problems, and hopefully help others.

I had a real bad vibration in 2nd gear from low to hard acceleration. found that it was caused by yoke that was 90 degrees out of phase. Driveline shop had shortened my driveshaft, and welded it on wrong. Had it corrected and the vibration isnt there anymore.

still have the hard 1-2 and 3-4 shifts though and dont seem to be able to track down what is causing it.

please help

the installed shift kit is most likely the cause

I have solved the harse 1-2 and 3-4 shift with the help of James from this forum and Matt from DIYautotune. you can read all about the tests I did in this topic:

http://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic ... 38&t=67966

What seemed to solve it is a 1N4001 (or equal diode) between the switched ground of the EPC and the 12V supply, with the band towards the 12V supply.

hope this helps other. I am very happy I now have full control over my line pressure and nor more harse shifts. I have even raisied the line pressure a couple times last two days, cause now that I have control, they even feel soft. So now looking for the point where hard meets comfort ;-)

I have been tuning my line pressure and its pretty close to the defaults that it get shipped with. ;-) guess those defaults are pretty close ;-)

dont mind the LOAD values, because I use MAP in stead of TPS for load indication
