hi guys,

i made a log file now that my trans shifts like I wannt. I cant seem to find the signal/channel for FIDLE and FUELPUMP that are used for SOLENOID A and B of my 4L80E.

are they logged under a different name?

i have attached the log file for you guys to check it out.

;-) thats my topic. and what I noticed in shadow Dash is that the solenoid stats are not what I expect every now and then. So Id like to check a datalog on it.

but they dont seem to be in the data log. from what I can judge

Made a printscreen of your Datalog 2018-01-12-14.11.
And there is a SolStat.

ok, thank you.

I was looking for the FIDLE and FUELPUMP output signals, because thats what the Solenoid A and B are connected to physically.

Solstat in the manual says:
SolStat
A bitfield representing the solenoid outputs.
but is does not say "what or how it represents" those solenoids?

Guess I dont know how to read this Solstat and know which solenoids are acitvated

thanks, but thats not quite correct then. I checked my logs and thiss is what I found.

Solstats from Shadow Dash:

Code: Select all

Sol1 = Shift solenoid A
Sol2 = Shift solenoid B
Sol3 = Line pressure solenoid
Sol4 = Lockup on/off
and this is whats avaiilable in the log file:
megalogviewer solstats
megalogviewer solstats
solstats_megalogviewer_solenoids.PNG (8.37 KiB) Viewed 691 times
during driving I see SOL A and B sometimes turn off and on, while there are no gear changes....thats why I wanted to check the logs to see if that a glitch in the MS Shadow Dash app i need t report of if the trans is actually switching solenoid A and B on/off for some reason.

so far I can judge right noww, there is no way in the available data that is logged, to see wich solenoid is activated. I wonder wwhy? because they are stock outputs you'd expect to see in the log files. so maybe something simple that can be fixed for future fiirmware?
