Where to ask questions about the process of tuning MS?

Post by greenv8s »

I'm an MS newbie with minimal prior experience of mapping. As a result, I have a whole load of questions, many of which are about the tuning process (and understanding what the data logs are telling me) rather than being questions about the hardware/firmware/software itself. I've read a lot of very useful guidance in the manuals and this is making more sense the more I re-read it, but clearly the manuals can only go so far and will never answer all my questions.

For example: under certain conditions, I'm seeing the AFR value go up when I would expect it to go down. I'm using MS1/Extra, and MegaTune, and MegaLogViewer, but this question isn't really about any of them. I'm really looking for somewhere where I can post up a MLV screen shot (and maybe a .MSQ file and a datalog) and ask more experienced people what they think is going on.

Can you suggest where this sort of question should go?

Thanks.

Hi Pete,
Here's a good a place as anywhere - you will need to "zip" the logs usally because which makes them much smaller.
Also post your MS code version when posting your MSQ.

Actually - it might be better in the MS1 section
