Are old postings and threads removed?
Threads found via Google gets "The topic or post you requested does not exist"

I understand the need for housekeeping. But it's sad that information is lost. Just beacuse the info is old does not mean that it may not be useful to someone, especialy to pepole new to megasquirt.

Perhaps you could dump old topics to static-html before they are removed from the database?

I have a very nice collection od links to topics that no more exists.
Now I'm sorry I did not saved the entire HTML pages to my computer.
There was a lot od useful information on MS in there.

Is there by any chance an archive somewhere? Please.
A lot of forums have some kind of archives that are read only.

From now on I'm saving everything to my computer :-)

If you are looking for a place to store documentation, go to

http://forums.sparkandfuel.com/index.php

weve got pretty much unlimited of space on a rented server, 100000+ gigs of transfer, and there is no post pruning. this is not so much a discussion board, but rather a repository for sharing how-to's with pictures and sharing screenshots of maps so others can have a leg-up when just starting out.

I'm falling foul of this too. I must learn to document my work as I have lost a load of links to questions and answers that I've now come across again :(
