Monitor Resolution

Post by TT350chevelle »

Hi Everyone,
I have an annoying little problem that I just can't seem to fix.The monitor on my laptop and desktop both run 800X600 resolution and I can not seem to find settings that will allow me to view the entire page on the forum.I know that if somebody has attached a picture to thier post (like I just did), it will effect/change the size of that post, but the problem I have is the apparent default is just slightly larger than 800X600 forcing me to scroll left to right to view that last little bit of each and every message.Changing the desktop res to 1024X768 will allow everything to fit, but the text becomes very small and hard to read (especially when we are getting 100+ posts a day!)
If anybody has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

Set your monitor to 1024x768.

Go Tools-->Internet Options

On the General Tab, click Accessibility

Under Formatting, check "Ignore font sizes specified on web pages"

Click OK, OK and then you can specify a font size by clicking View-->Text Size.

The setting "Medium" is larger than normal for the style sheet used at MSEFI.

This won't resize tables, and will only affect the width where a cell is set to prevent text wrapping.
