LS coils wasted driver replacement for VB921?

I am about to update my MS1 2.2 board to drive my LS truck coils number 12558948

I can not find the VB921 at RS or farnell as advised to use in the MS1 spark document

Ive searched the forums for what others have used

2 parts come up BIP 373 which I also can not find and TC4427CPA which I can get at RS.

What is being used in the UK surely am not the only person who cant find these?

VB921 has been obsolete for a number of years. You don't need VB921 or BIP373 to drive LS coils. You only need a small signal transistor with a pullup e.g. 2N3094, 2N2222.

Am Just getting back into all this after leaving it alone for about 4 years so am a little rusty. lots of reading modding and testing with stim to do.

Or you can use the TC4427, 1 for every 2 coils.

what might be the reason for this. I put a timing light and ensure that the ignition is correct.
