delaying EGO correction after warm start

Post by aspro »

Hi all

Is there a way to delay EGO correction for about 30 secs, if the car is started from warm.

The problem i have is that on some occasions the wideband (techedge Lin) takes about 30 seconds to warm up and start giving MS the correct readings.

When the techedge is warming up it gives an output of 1 volt which is rich, so MS then leans of via correction.

Is they a way ??

At least in the Innovate LC-1 WBo2 controller, there is a setting, to output a specific voltage, as long as there is a error, OR the sensor isn't ready.

I put both mine to 2,36v (=14,7AFR), so that ego correction is off, untill the sensor is ready.
