I was planning on using EDIS or a 36-1 Crank wheel with LS1 Coil Packs, but I saw this:

It would be much easier to get this distributor cam sync plug rather than setting up a 36-1 wheel on my 1995 Mustang GT
Is it possible to have a Cam Sync Plug, using the MSnS-E to directly fire a wasted spark system? Preferrably GM 2 Tower Coil Packs.
Would I need anything else besides those two parts to run my ignition that way? It would make it alot easier
Ignition Setup Possible Using Distributor Cam Sync Plug?

Nope, no good. That device will provide one pulse per 720degrees. You need 8 pulses per 720 deg minimum for distributor control and more if you want to run wasted spark.

If you just run one cylinder then the cam sync will be great, but otherwise very useless on its own.
With a crank wheel AND the cam sync and the right ECU you could run coil on plug ignition.
At the present time the cam sync plug does not help you in the Megasquirt world, fit a 36-1 crank wheel or use standard TFI dizzy.
