PIP signal used for MSnS with EDIS?

Post by sclay115 »

i've been struggling using megajolt with MS extra for a while and i didnt realize it only takes one signal wire to run the spark off of the MSnS. do i need to do anything with the PIP pin from the edis module? or is that just an output for something else? i know the megajolt uses it, but does the MSnS need it at all? i see it needs the SAW input, but that's obviously easy to wire up. but really, just one little question out of all of this. do i need to do anything with the PIP wire out of the edis module? thanks!

Steve,

PIP is wired to your tach input pin on the MS. Without that connection, MS doesn't know the engine is turning.

hm, do i need to go about adding another plug to my MS? i was under the impression that i could just run the SAW signal down to the MS and control spark from there...true or no?
