MS-1, V3 board, Fan Control?

Is there a common circuit for fan control for the MS-1, V3 board?

I have found the circuits for V2.2 board, and pictures showing "JS0" and what looks like pin 5 on the DB37 being used for V3, but nothing else.

Do I just build the circuit outlined for the V2.2 board in the proto area and connect it to "JS0" and find which output is connected to pin 5? :|

Is there a common, accepted way to work this? :?
