I have decided not to use the PWM-idle. Since the car is not a daily driver it´s no big deal to sit and hold the throttle a little before the engine warms up and runs properly.
There is an adjustable bypassvalve on my throttle body, i´ll adjust that to a decent idle with warm engine.
I will also save some space and weight in the enginebay, and thats good.

This is disapointing news, I followed this thread and was hoping for a successfull idle control in a MS 1 and extra code.

So, are there any options how to do this

-which code (version)?
- which valve?
- which mods to the MS1?

Well, the 2 wire valves have been successfully run (ford, Bosch, VDO). THe Bosch 3 wire valve is a different story. Apparently, the schematic shown earlier in this thread seemed to be a problem, but there is a more complicated schematic which is purported to work. Look in the archives under 3 wire valve and on the msns-e setup information.

Ok, but I do not care 2 or 3 wire valves, I am looking for a working sollution for idle control (warm and cold)

If you don't want to use 2 or 3 wire valves than just what did you have in mind as a idle control mechanism? Why do you not want to use these valves?

Just a guess, but I think he meant he does not care which of the two types is used.
