I've been searching for the wheel decoder settings for this installation, but i'm finding conflicting info...I've got all the board mods down, and all i need to get going is all the settings on the wheel docoder drop down menu. I believe this is the only info missing on the DIYautotune website as well, unless i mised it somewhere. Thanks for any info!

Anyone?? I know there are quite a few 4g63 setups using the MS now...All I need are the settings in the "wheel decoder settings" menu. Also, i remember reading that the 024 style decoder worked better than the 025? Is this correct? I picked up a spare CAS sensor, and i want to rig it up to the MS board to "test" the setup out of the car...These settings are all i need to see if it works. I'd really appreciate any info!

Thank you for the info! I'll get it hooked up on the bench and we will see what happens...AlHounos wrote:For miatas, which use the same CAS, it is 2 base teeth, 2nd trigger, falling, no missing, trig pos A=1, trig pos B=2. All the rest are blank.
This has worked for several other miata guys, but I can't get mine to spark.

Those are the exact same settings to use for the Mitsu/4G63 also. I use those settings on many 4g63 MSnS setups, so I know they work.AlHounos wrote:For miatas, which use the same CAS, it is 2 base teeth, 2nd trigger, falling, no missing, trig pos A=1, trig pos B=2. All the rest are blank.

Thanks for the responses guys..I got the board mods all done, and wire harness made up, then used my spare 1g CAS sensor to connect to the MS. Used a cordless drill to spin the CAS, and it works on the bench. Getting 5v/ground pulses on the ignition LED outputs, and pulsing grounds on the injector drivers. MT reads approx 500 rpm, which is what my drill turns. Sweet!
