Elturbonitroso,

turn on the key, fire up Megatune, go to "file" "Save as" and save the .msq file to a place you can remember, post that file here. For whatever reason, the logs won't open for me.

How are you picking up Fuel pressure on your log? If that really is the fuel pressure, it's all over the map, if it really is doing that, no wondor it runs lke crap. The fuel pressure goes all the way from 47psi to 2psi. Is the fuel pump somehow turning intermittantly on and off?

So you don't have fuel pressure hooked up to your Megasquirt?

You must have it enabled in your .ini and it is reading something off X7. The default has this field turned off. you would have had to go in and remove the semi-colon for this to log.

Code: Select all

[Datalog]
; entry = fuelpress, "Fuel Press", int, "%d"

You know it just looks like you need to tune it, read the tuning section of the Megamanual.

I looked at the log last night and what I thought I was seeing was this:
engine starts and idles ok. Blip throttle and raise rpm to 2000-3000, release throttle, engine rpms drop and then suddenly fall to zero.

Is this what happens in practice? It is the sudden 600rpm then 0rpm that looks odd - almost as if the tach signal failed.
