LED 18 does not flash on firmware 029q2

LED 18 does not flash on firmware 029q2
I'm using LED 17 for spark output and LED 18 for IRQ Triger using distributor mode and MSD Ignition. The middle led flash and the injectors pulse but the right led remains on and the ignition does not spark. I am really frustrated with this. I'm using a Bosh Hall Sensor with 4 windows on it and the engine is a 1.8 VW 16V from a Jetta 88.

LED18 is the middle LED. Does it flash or not? In the subject you say it doesn't but the message you say it does.
Do you get rpm in Megatune?

That MSQ is for version 024s and not 029q2
Loading into Megatune with msns-extra.ini.024s activated it looked ok.
Do you have the right ini file Activated? Do you get any error messages when starting Megatune?
What firmware do you have loaded?
An 024s MSQ ought to load into 029q2 ok, but you would need to review your settings and in particular re-enter your warmup/afterstart values.

Do you get any Megatune errors?
If not then I think you have have a fault on the board - check around the transistor that drives the LED for any short circuits.

I have 2 MS and both have the same problem. I am not a great tuner. I received an error on my Megatune that said "The megatune send a 029b2 and received a 029q2" or something like that.
In my megasquirt board;
For input:
I removed the jumper on XG1 and XG2 and put the Hall Sensor on X11 with a jumper from X11 to XG1 and input 12V on Pin24 with a 430 resistor.
For output:
I'm using the VB921 with the RHS of R25.

Please do not ignore this error. It is critical and will usually mean that data is being sent to the wrong place in memory. Why are you using the VB921 when you have an MSD ?
Skip the VB921 and connect the (-) of LED17 over to X11 then connect the MSD white wire to pin 25 of the DB37

The schematics of the Hall Sensor wiring showed a resistor of 10? in the 12v+ wire and I used a 10K instead of a 10ohm, when I used the 10ohm work fine.
Connected to the external ignition worked fine because the ignition was not grounded.
Now I have work to do tuning.
