One last problem. (datalogs, pictures, HELP!)

Post by AlHounos »

V3 29q2
wheel decoder, 24s mode
running resistor plugs
running low-z injectors, PWM at ~38%

I am having what seem to be completely random tach spikes. The car may run great for several miles, only to begin stuttering and bucking at random.

I am using crimped connections to the OEM wiring harness I have checked them all for good connection. Using the OEM ECU ground for one ground and the other is grounded to a floorboard bolt shared with LC1 grounds.

I think I can rule out bad connections. Grounds should be fine.

Could there be bad capacitors on my board? How should I check? Is the injector PWM causing interference?

Should I post a bunch of pictures of my wiring and board mods?

As I said, the car does run great for some periods, but these problems are bad enough to make the car unusable.

THANKS!

Anyone? I tried powering the CAS off the MS power and ground, but no change.

Just for future reference, the PWM for the low-z injectors was causing the problem.

I installed my old high impedance injectors and set the PWM accordingly. 100% and 25.4ms.
