Speed/distance sensor, easy to do?

Post by Zendalar »

How hard would it be to build a sensor which would measure the distance?

I mean, if one put Hall sensor on one of the rims and one would calculate the distance the car travels with one revolution of the wheel.

How, where, and is there such an input on MS1 which i could use and how could one accomplish a gauge that would read such an information in megatune??

If you have driveshafts BOLTED to a differential, there´s where most people put the sensor, to read when the boltheads passes it, that´s on the "drive" wheels....
