CAN THE Code be different?

Post by FSTurbo »

I booted my proto car MS I up today hooked to my PC and it gave me a error saying that it found 24 on my MS and it expected 29.

Do I need to change this or should I leave it alone??

Thanks JS

You need to load the 029Q2 firmware into the MegaSquirt.

If MegaTune is using the wrong .ini file and talking to the MS you`ll definitely get errors and won`t be able to set all the options correctly.

If you have msns-extra024 on the MegaSquirt you won`t need to use the boot jumper, just use the DownloadFirmware icon and follow the prompts.

If you really want to keep the 024extra code in your MS you can set up MegaTune with the matching 024 msns-extra.ini file so there are no errors. To do this go into the MegaTune configurator and activate the msns-extra 024s ini file.
