I should also mention, while running my MS on a bench, plugged into my laptop. after 5 or so minutes had passed, as I was going though all the differnt options trying to find out why my rpm had gone..

I had noticed that the MS had reset itself several times on its 'Reset Count' in the bototm right of MegaTune, why does it do this..?

Did you start with the 029q default msq and change all the settings to suit your setup? I don't think you can just import an msq from 026, it won't work properly.

I didnt import any MS saved setting, I did everything from scratch, using a new install of the latest MT2.25 and 029q2. I'm starting to think that MT isn't burning the values to the MS, when I click burn to ecu, does the pc normally beep when it burns values? mine doesn't.

what do you think..

Do you get any errors when you start Megatune?

The reset count should not be increasing - something is wrong there.

A beep when burning would mean the CPU reset itself which is bad and should not happen.

I would be tempted to re-download the firmware to the chip incase something got corrupted. This is not common but something odd is happening.

the 555timer is all still working as is the transistor, all seems to be bearng on some other factor.

I re flashed the rom again to 029q2, and copied the 029q2 ini again, into my MT2.25p1 install. MT burns all the settings to the ECU no problem, and it recalls everything, when you fetch settings..

help help im going maaad.

Could you post your MSQ and give us some hints about your setup.

029q2 does work so it is a settings problem.
