Wiring LED17 as Spark output and use FIDLE as PWM-idle

Post by Vezzel 309 GTI16 »

MSnS-Extra, V2.2 board, Wheel decoder
I'm a bit confused...

To use LED17 as spark-output:
1Kohm resistor from RHS of R23 to neg.-side of D17.
Wire from neg.side og D17 to X11
From DB37 pin 25 to pin 6 of Ign.module

To use Honeywell GT101 hall sensor:
1Kohm resistor between Pin24 (hole right of R29) to Pin28 (free hole near X12 and x13)
Sensor output to Pin 25 (but i use pin 25 to ign.module?!)
Cut jumper from XG1 to XG2
Wire from XG1 to X11
Feed sensor using a 10ohm resistor

Change Q5 to a TIP121 darlington
Change R16 to a 510ohm resistor
Pin 30 to Idle-valve
Feed idle-valve with power from Fuel-pump relay

Use the "alternative to schematic 2" where the Hall sensor come in on pin 24, see http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/setup-msns.html

I'm using schematic 2 - and that connects hall-output to pin 25.
And also use pin 24 where it got connected to pin28 using a resistor...

Does this look right?

To use LED17 as spark-output:
1Kohm resistor from RHS of R23 to neg.-side of D17.
Wire from neg.side og D17 to X12
From DB37 pin 27 to pin 6 of Ign.module

To use Honeywell GT101 hall sensor:
1Kohm resistor between Pin24 (hole right of R29) to Pin28 (free hole near X12 and x13)
Sensor output to Pin 25
Cut jumper from XG1 to XG2
Wire from XG1 to X11
Feed sensor using a 10ohm resistor

To use org 2-pin Bosch PWM idle-valve:
Change Q5 to a TIP121 darlington
Change R16 to a 510ohm resistor No - I leave R16 as original
Pin 30 to Idle-valve
Feed idle-valve with power from Fuel-pump relay
