GM boost solenoid

Hi. I'm building the boost controller circuit now and have a GM boost solenoid off a Typhoon. Has anyone successfully used this solenoid? What should I set the PWM rate at for this? Does increasing duty cycle increase boost for this valve? I tried searching but couldn't find any numbers. Thanks for your help.

It would be nice to see a nice write/how-to on this. I haven't been able to find any solid info on this either.
