Hi. I what to install MS on my SAAB c900 2.0 turbo 16v from 1990 with lucas injection! But I dont know have system I shall take! I need to control everything, first timing and idle, then fuel and maybe boost.
A friend of mine says that I can use MS spark-extra insted of the MS 2! MS spark-extra is cheaper, so what is the diffence?
To control the idle, I have a idle motor with 4 fires " step motor " can I use that?
I have most sensors, the only thing I need to get is the air temp sensor!
What is the diffence on v2.2 and v3.0?
The main thing I what to install MS, is couse it is controlled by a mapsensor and not an AMM!
MS spark-extra vs. MS 2

MS2 can directly control a stepper idle valve. MS1 cannot (although there is some developement that _may_ lead to this.)
MS1/Extra can support a wider range of trigger wheels and can do native wasted spark or coil on plug.
Beyond that there are many small differences - you need to review the feature list and see which is most appropriate for your install.
The V3 PCB has better voltage protection, can drive low-Z injectors without problem and has a VR conditioner circuit on board.
