Now that the days are getting colder in Australia I can not start the car
The engine is a 4age blacktop which normally starts fine and is very reliable, however the temperature is dropping to around freezing point of a night now (even thought the temp sender says 5 degrees C ). When the gauge in MT says around 10 degrees C it takes a little cranking to get it to fire but now that it is colder it will not even try to fire.
I have tried to increase and decrease the settings in the cranking/priming table in small increments, to no avail, by this time that I have cranked the starter a while the battery gets low (new battery a month ago due to install and starting with the new MS install) and the starter gets hot and the engine seems to flood. Holding down the throttle for flood clear does not seem to help.
Please help
Cold starting problems

Have a dodge dart V8 and just upgraded to squit'n spark and added new exhaust with headers..
Can't get the car to start at any temperature!
Well, I can, but only after pouring some table spoons of petrol downb the throttlebody, then she kicks in to life and idles just fine!
Allso been playing around with cranking PW without any results whatsoever..
