MS Keeps reseting under boost

Hey Guys,

I just swaped out my v2.2 ms for the v3. I just took it out for a spin and every time I boost the MS resets. Any clues to what it could be? I've attached my log, it shows about 5 resets. Thanks!

Are you using VB921s to trigger the coil packs? If so, I had the same problem. It simply seems that the VB921s alone can't cut it... adding a CD box fixed the reset problem.

Nope, I'm using a 46g3 Ignitor pack. I think it might just be too rich, but I'm not sure why that would cause the MS to reset. I'm going to try adjusting the pwm values right now to better suit the hardware with the flyback circuit.

bump, anything ever happen with this? I have a very similar prob, never had a single reset with my 2.2 for 8k miles. Switched to 3.0, used same harness and all and now I get resets only and ONLY under boost, primarily 14+ psi.
94 Mazda MX-3 V6: MS'n'S, 550cc injectors, 395 whp 397 ft lbs @ 15 psi boost

Bump... I am getting the same problem. Also only around 14+ psi of boost. What is a CD box? I'd like to look into this.

CD = Capacitive Discharge

That's my guess..

Something to check is that you're using a resistor between the CPU and the 4G63 ignitor, otherwise the current draw could reset the MS.
