5cyl: MS1/Extra 60-2 Wheel and dizzy as cam sync

This is copied from a post in MS2...
I am going to use a 60-2 wheel and a single window dizzy on my 5 cylinder Audi 20V turbo engine. (I do not want to modify the dizzy to 5 windows)

I need some hints to get me started.
This is what I have configured so far – am I correct?

Codebase and outputs:
Wheel decoder:on
Fidle: Spark output A

Wheel decoder settings:
Base teeth: 60
2nd trigger enable: 2nd trigger
2nd trigger active edge: falling
Trig pos A=1
Trig pos B=13
Trig pos C=25
Trig pos D=37
Trig pos E=49

Your base teeth need to be 120 (2x the 60 tooth wheel as COP is on 720 deg not 360 deg of crank rotation) if you are using MSnS-E. Your triggers need to be spaced on 120 teeth, or 24 apart. I do not know where your missing tooth is compared to TDC, but if it happens at 90 deg before TDC and you want a 66 degree trigger angle( 4 teeth from 90), 12 deg cranking angle (9 more teeth), you will want a tooth cadence of:
trigger, return:
4, 13
28, 37
52, 61
76, 85
100, 109

These will need to be adjusted depending on where the missing teeth are as I do not think they are at 90 DBTDC. Just rotate these around the clock depending on where the missing tooth is.

Tanks

I have not mounted the 60-2 wheel yet, so I can place the missing teeth were I want it
One more question…
If I only specify “Fidle” as spark output A, does MSnS Extra fire all cylinders at this output :?:
(That is what I want as I am going to use a VAG ignition module and distributor – not COP)

Yes, although LED17/D14 is preferred leaving Fidle as Fidle.

Will not be simpler with a 5 windows distr from a 100q or 90 ? ith a synch pulse on cam or crank ?No need to weld a 60-2 on the damper ?

Just an idea.
I tested bench this setup with digifant-1 but kept the distr to dispatch the sparks to the right cyl.

I use 5 windows on my 10V turbo engine, but the 20V distributor got a fixed wheel.
I do not wan to modify the wheel in my distributor, as I need to remove the distributor gear to do so. The ignition is also more accurate with a 62-2 wheel

I’m buying my 60-2 wheel from 034motorsport.com

Yesterday, I found a nice 10v distributor with 5 windows.
It is from a 2.3 liter NG engine.
What needs to be done is:
Remove the old distributor gear
Cut the axle
Bore a new hole for the lock pin

Picture of the two distributor axles
(I have bored a new hole for a lock pin that fits the 20v gear)
Image

Here I have test mounted a new 20v gear bought from “urquattrob” on ebay.co.uk.

You need remove the part of the pin that is outside the shaft before you try to remove the rest with a nail punch

I do use a drill for this. Do not remember the size, but i use 0.5mm bigger drillsteel on one side (You will know when you look at it)

Original the 20V uses a sensor that counts the teeth on the flywheel and a cam sensor or 1 windows distributor as cam sync

Audi uses a sensor that counts all the theet on the flywheel and a hall sensor located behind the cam gear pulley, or in the distributor (3B)

I tried it and the drills got damaged. Was impossible, was too tight.
