I am planning on changing over to the EDIS ingintion as soon as I can get the trigger wheel mounted on my X 1/9. Can I make the Megasquirt v. 2.2 board changes and still just run fuel only?

I believe it should be ok.

I had mine running on fuel only, and after the changes to the v2.2 board for spark, I wanted to check and test that I have not screwed up, so I plugged it in and the car started with the ignition controlled by the stock ecu.
