Just installed a MSI v3.0 running Extra 029q2 on a friends Sierra 2.0IS. Using 330k resistor mod to LED17, and 5101FG from EEC-IV to drive PWM Idle valve.
Painless install apart from a few troubles steming from the general condition off the engine/wiering.
But there is one strange problem.
When turning on the ignition, the distributor (hall sensor?) emits an humming sound, after 10-20seconds the sound stops and the tachometer rices to 7000RPM. During this you can start the engine at any time without problems. But after the tach rises, I can not send to the MS, after the car starts coms is good again.
Anybody have an idea what is going on.
