I've been trying to find out the same thing. But I also have no Igniter or Coil. So I'm trying to find out if I can just use a VB921 and a MSD (or other) aftermarket coil.

Read through the document James has put together.

I wish I could be more help but I run EDIS on my 4AGTE 85 MR2 and don't know all the other options for triggering using a stock distributor and coil.
