Ok, I know this has been gone over before, but i can't find the thread..
In the ASE settings, if you want 10% enrichment over the fuel map, do you enter 10% or 110%? I'm running code 029j MSNS-E(of course) V3 board(not that it makes a difference )
Say At 160°F my enrichement is 110%.. is this going to add 10% enrichment to the map, or 110%.
Thanks,
Pete
BTW< my settings read 140%-100% from 0° to 160°F respectivly.

Reading the code (Phil wrote/modified those bits)
Warmup enrichment is normally 100%, so 110% means add 10%
Afterstart enrichment is added to the warmup number so 15% means add 15%.
i.e. at a given time/temp the warmup bin was 110% and the ASE bin was 15% the effect would be 110+15 = 125% of the original fuel.
If ASE was 115% then the result would be 225% of the original fuel.

Hmm something doesnt make sense then, because when I had my ASE numbers below 100%, the engine would not stay running after starting it. When I put them above 100%, it starts and stays running perfectly...Using an 8 second ASE time, and normal map.

I have been confused with this too. An enrichment by definition means adding more to the original quantity. So 15% enrichment is adding 15% more fuel to the original quantity, and is very similar if not the same as 115% warmup enrichment which is the original quantity times 1.15. They are the same thing. Hence the confusion. Your best bet is to get the stim out and verify for yourself how it works.
