Bosch Ignition Module Question

"If you use this module make sure you get the coil too. Normally there should be a label on the coil saying it is for use in transistorized ignitions."

Would one of these transistorized ignition coils cause problems or need different settings when using the vb921 instead of the Bosch Module?

You must be confusing things here...

The text you´re refferring to is about the boch modules with built in dwell control. Those are best matched with the coils they´re mounted together with from the production of the car they´re in.

The VB921 does not have dwell control....

HUGE difference.
Peugeot 309GR1990 XU9JAZ(4cyl 1.9litre) 10.8:1 CR with 60-2 VR wheel decoding ,V2.2 card, singel coil and dizzy spark ,360cc 0 280 150 431 injectors. Msns-E hi-res 10d2 and E85(Ethanol) in the gastank.

just wondering if the vb921 can use either type of coil without any different settings or wiring.

there's not much about coils and their types in the docs so i am thinking they are standard enough to not make a difference. the dwell settings seem like the only settings that change between different coils.
