Hi.
RPM shows "---" on megatune when VR sensor sends signal through 7pin hei module. I made following changes to the board as advised on extracode page http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/setup-hei7.html
Removed D5,D8,R10
Removed jumper between XG1-XG2
Fitted wire between XG1 and right of D5 (non band)
Fitted wire between bottom of R10 and small hole above D9
Fitted 1.6k resistor in place of D8
Added 1k resistor from (-) of D17 to the right (5v) side of R23
Ran a length of wire from D17 (-) to X11
Added 1k resistor from (-) of D19 to the right (5v) side of R27.
Ran a length of wire from D19 (-) to X12
Is that correct wiring when I'm going to use distributor and single coil on 4-cyl engine?
How to debug what's wrong? I've checked with multimeter that AC signal goes to megasquirt pin and VR sensor has been installed both ways.
Thanks for help.
No RPM, v2.2 with 029q2 code and 7pin HEI

If it shows "---" then you do not have a serial connection. Has your tuning computer ever been able to talk to the Megasquirt?
I would suggest going through the serial testing section of the Megamanual as well as checking the correct com port and 9600 baud are selected in Megatune.
