Help with coil connections for Vaux C20XE

I appear to be helping a friend squirt a C20XE and need a bit of info on the coil connections...

Anyone know what the pins are on these ?

Have you applied a ohm meter to it yet? That looks of the same layout as a Ford coilpack so might have the same wiring.

Not seen it meself yet, just trying to get some info to help Dave with loom at the moment.

But yes, it does look a bit EDISish doesn't it!

The center ping is 12v. The other to ping are for the two halve of the coil pack, ie, pin1 cyl1/4 pin3 cyl2/3. You'll need highcurrent ignition drivers to drive this coil pack. One vb921 for pin1 and other for pin3.

pin 1 = 12v
pin 2 = ground
pin 3 = coil 1 & 4
pin 4 = coil 2 & 3

i havent tryed it but i was given this info for my coil pack it was taken of migweb so its 100 %

or get the amped one from an astra or corsa and dont use the vb921s
(another thing i havent fitted yet )

sorry the pic aint to great ive only played with the 4 wire versions
