MS1 Megatune instruments now read wrong

Post by djjohnj25 »

This morning while completing the MSNS extra install the gauges on megatune seemed to read correctly. ECT and MAT read approx. 93deg Once we completed the wiring and tried to opperate the starter motor to check rpm we got no reading on the tach in megatune. Then the 2 temp sensor changed the read on the gauges to now read 43deg. We checked the sensor and the signal return voltage at the sensor is still 2.4volts (accurate for 93deg ) When we look at the megatune "tuning" and "realtime display" the screen that appears shows the battery voltage at 22 and TPS at 76% and MAP at 189Kpa both the AMP aand TPS looked good this morning.... Also in the lower left corner the fuel pump indicator keeps toggling between on/off and it is not switching the pump relay on or off. All power and ground conections have been checked and rechecked. (acts like bad ground but can not be found) Please help

Try reflashing the code. Battvoltage of 22V is good sign of flash contents corrupt.

Please read the readme, read the FAQ page on the Extra site and read the "fuel pump turns on and off" Sticky post in this forum.

The code is telling you that you have made a configuration error.
