EDIS -> wheel decoder

Post by 2swe »

So, I decided to get rid of EDIS. I did it, everything works, but I still have some questions..

I have external 36-1 wheel and VW hall sender (which was originally crank case mounted) and a home made bracket.
I wired the hall sender + to TPS 5v supply. Is it OK ??

wheel decoder :
trigger A : 3
trigger B : 21
trigger angle is 65°BTDC, what if I trigger on next tooth 4 and 22 , will 55° be enough ??

trigger return A : 9, B : 27 (5°BTDC)
cranking timing - trigger return, cranking advance 5°, no problem here..

msq attached, if you find anything strange in my tune, let me know, thank you.

BTW: it's VW 1,8 16v with ITB's, 189 hp and 10% less fuel consumption
