Can't get megasuirt running

Got all my fuel and oil leak issues sorted out, ran a dedicated ground to the battery, got my sample MS map. Tried to fire it up and got some sputtering, but it just won't catch. This leads me to believe that I've got both fuel and spark, but maybe there's a timing issue? I mean, I could've sworn I had the timing at TDC and the plug order correct....I just ran out of time to trouble-shoot. Here's a screenshot of the dashboard while cranking:

Setup: MS1v3.0, single-coil (new)/stock dizzy (new) ignition, 440cc injectors (new), 2032 8v 9:1 VW Scirocco

Any tips, recommendations, feedback, questions are most welcome! I feel lost and have little idea where to begin!

OK - I think I really screwed up. Noting that my coolant temperature was at -40, I decided to run EasyTherm. However, when I downloaded the settings to the MS box, I didn't do the boot jumper thingy. Now, I can't get communication to the MS box did I fry something?? Pardon my ignorance...

I did, however, get a datalog of the behavior prior to doing this. I'll post it up when I can. But I guess w/o communication, it's irrelevant...boo....

Try reloading the firmware again. It sounds like it didn't fully load.

How can I do that if I don't have communications?

Communications in TunerStudio is not the same as the serial monitor that handles loading firmware.

OK - so I learned a couple of things.

1) EZTherm keeps spitting out a non-functional .s19 file (only 14kb). Twice after using EZT, I had to reflash my firmware to 029y4 to re-establish comm's.

2) My CLT sensor wasn't properly grounded.

So after getting that fixed, I was able to get a datalog from cranking. It actually "feels" further from starting than when my CLT reading was -40

Check the timing and adjust the cranking pulse width. These tips should help:
